Sex Therapy & Pelvic Pain

It is estimated that 43% of American women suffer from sexual health issues. Over 20% of women will experience chronic sexual pain at some point in their lives. Sexual health issues can increase isolation and shame, only furthering the difficulty of treating the condition at hand. Therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for addressing the emotional component that accompanies a sexual health issue. In therapy, I will help clients find their options and resources for improved quality of life, incorporate behavioral strategies for improved intimacy, integrate mind-body tools, and help clients feel and process the underlying emotions that keep them feeling stuck.
